An Indiana native, William Stratton is a disabled Navy Veteran.
He is a proud father/grandfather of 5 children and one grandchild. He has
his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
William has always had a creative mind and the ability to look at a situation and make
it better. He put his creative mind to work when he designed a new type of diaper for
which he owns a U.S. Patent. Additionally, William designed a line of clothing
called Perfect Connection.
William’s passion for adventure led him to join the Navy. In his many years in the
Navy he traveled the world visiting many countries and continents. During that time
he saw and experienced many things. Throughout his travels William observed how children,
no matter their situation or where they were born, always want to have fun and learn.
Therefore, he made a vow to himself that when his time in the Navy was done, he would
bridge that gap with children through learning and adventure. This served as his
inspiration for The Captain and Navy Adventures book series.
